Upscaling a video
Make a video larger while it keeps its shape — choose the upscale factor and Precise or Creative detail, and see the output size before you pay.
Video upscale makes a video larger while it keeps its shape — "with faithful upscaling or creative detail enhancement." When Studio offers it, you find it under Revisions on Studio's home.
Upscale a video
- Press Start from a clip and choose an MP4 from your Gallery. You can trim it to a shorter stretch.
- Under Upscale settings, set the Upscale factor — from 1.5× to 3×, starting at 2×. The page shows the size you will get — Expected: the width and height, and 1080p, 2K or 4K.
- Choose the Detail mode:
- Precise — "Keeps the detail faithful to your clip."
- Creative — "Adds new detail guided by your words." You can guide it in the words box: "Guide the added detail — optional."
- Check the price on Make and press it.
When it is ready, compare before and after; the page shows the actual output size.
Good to know
- Upscale takes MP4 files. Another format is refused with "This video could not be prepared — choose another MP4."
- The price depends on the output's length, its size and the detail mode — Precise costs less than Creative. You are never charged more than the price you saw.
- If an upscale cannot be made, every credit comes back.
