# A run failed

> What to do when a take, a revision or a chat turn does not deliver — your credits come back on their own, and here is how to try again.

When something does not deliver, **every credit taken for it comes back to your balance automatically** — the page shows how many were returned.

## A take on a model page

*"This take could not be made."* with the reason and the credits returned. Then:

- **Try again** — the same words and settings;
- **Change the words** — if the reason points at your words;
- **Replace** a picture — if the reason points at one of them.

## An Optic revision

See [When a revision does not work out](https://routix.studio/help/optic/when-a-run-fails) — failed, refused, part of a clip refused, an unreadable clip, and stopping.

## A safety refusal

A request can be refused for safety or privacy — for example when what you sent shows a child or a real, well-known person. Nothing is charged. Change the words, the pictures or the clip, and try again. If several requests in a short time are refused, Studio pauses for you for a while and opens again on its own.

## A chat turn

If a turn in a chat fails, its credits come back and ROUTIX tells you in the chat. Say the word and it tries again.
