# Signing in

> Sign in to ROUTIX with your Google account, accept the terms once, and sign out from the profile menu or Settings.

ROUTIX signs you in with your Google account. There is no separate password to remember.

1. Open [routix.studio](https://routix.studio/) and press **Sign in with Google**, or go to the sign-in page and press **Continue with Google**.
2. Choose your Google account and allow ROUTIX to see your name and email address.
3. You land on the ROUTIX home page, signed in. The first time, ROUTIX creates your account.

## Accept the terms once

The first time you sign in — and once more whenever the terms change — ROUTIX asks you to accept the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Content Policy. You tick one box and press **Continue**. Until you do, you can look around, but you cannot upload files or start anything that uses credits. [The terms agreement](https://routix.studio/help/account/the-terms-agreement) explains what you agree to.

## Sign out

- Click your picture at the top right and choose **Sign out**, or
- open **Settings** and press **Sign Out**.

Either way you return to the home page. Signing out on one device does not sign you out on another — sign out on each device you used.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I sign in with an email and password?

Not yet. Today ROUTIX signs you in with Google only.

### What does ROUTIX receive from Google?

Your name, your email address and your Google account's identifier. The [Privacy Policy](https://routix.studio/help/policies/privacy-policy) explains what ROUTIX keeps and why.

### I signed in but I am back on the home page — is that right?

Yes. After signing in you always land on the home page. Open **Studio** or **Chats** from there.
