# Credits in brief

> Everything ROUTIX makes is paid in credits. You see the exact price before you confirm, and a run that does not deliver gives its credits back.

Credits pay for what ROUTIX makes for you — pictures, videos and revisions, in Studio and in the chat. A new account starts with a few free credits to try things.

The exact price is always shown before you confirm: on the button you press — for example **Make · … credits** on a model page, or **Revise · … credits** in Optic. You pay for what you choose — for a revision, the seconds you select and the quality. Credits are held when you press, kept when your result is delivered, and **returned in full, automatically, when a run does not deliver**.

You can see your balance in Studio's header, on the Credits page and in your profile menu. When you need more, choose a plan or add credits on the **Credits** page. [How credits work](https://routix.studio/help/credits/how-credits-work) has the details.
