# Focus on a phone

> How the Focus editor works on a phone — the tools under the clip, the sheet you can pull up, and the Delete, Cancel and Apply buttons.

On a phone the Focus editor fits your screen: the frame at the top, the tools under it, and your focuses in a sheet at the bottom.

## What is where

- **The header:** an **X** to cancel, and **Done**.
- **Under the clip:** the filmstrip and the **Point** and **Area** tools.
- **The sheet:** your focuses, and **Edit focus** when one is selected. Tap its handle to make it taller or shorter, or drag it to the height you like.
- **Undo** is in the sheet's **Add a focus** part, when no focus is selected.
- **The buttons** under a focus you edit: **Delete focus**, **Cancel** and **Apply**.

## Drawing with your finger

- **Point:** tap the subject. The point follows your finger and lands where you lift it.
- **Area:** press and drag around the subject. A very small drag is ignored, so a slip of the finger never becomes an Area.
- An Area has a handle on each corner on a phone; drag a corner to resize it.
- To switch a focus between Area and Point on a phone, delete it and draw it again.

Only one new focus waits to be applied at a time — a new touch replaces it.
